President Trump is likely to sign an order this week that prevents American firms from using telecoms equipment made by companies posing a national security risk, Reuters reports, citing unnamed U.S. officials. That would effectively set the groundwork to stop them from using Huawei Technologies, says the Financial Times. The U.S. has said equipment made by the Chinese telecoms equipment maker could be used by Beijing to spy — which Huawei has repeatedly denied.
